Reliable and efficient supply and exhaust ventilation, dehumidification, and heating in a compact installation footprint.

Dehumidify and heat like the big ones: compact, energy-efficient, and easy-to-install ventilation units for private, hotel, and therapy pools. Three options for heat supply: fully integrated heat pump, electrically heated coils, or connection to an external heat source.

Highlights at a glance

The CKL Pool units can be retrofitted even through small access openings and into confined plant rooms, while offering very large service openings for maintenance and servicing. Thanks to ready-to-connect piping and wiring, they are plug-and-play ready and can be installed and commissioned quickly and easily without requiring a refrigeration certification.

Three unit sizes with nominal air flow rates of 1,300 m³/h, 2,000 m³/h, and 3,000 m³/h cover typical pool sizes in private settings, small hotels, and therapy pools. From 2,000 m³/h, units are equipped with integrated heat pump technology.

Low Energy Consumption

  • Latest-generation ventilation technology with compact, continuously variable, energy-efficient EC fans from leading European manufacturers. Integrated measurement system for determining air flow rates
  • From 1,300 m³/h: integrated, high-efficiency heat pump (either inverter-controlled or continuously variable without frequency converter) for additional heat recovery from exhaust air. The heat pump is designed for both heating operation and dehumidification. Condenser and evaporator made of copper for maximum corrosion resistance. Refrigerant: R513A (neither toxic nor flammable)
  • Plug-and-play without the need for a refrigeration certification
  • Optional: pool water condenser for air flow rates of 2,000 and 3,000 m³/h

Housing

  • Small installation footprint (measured without control cabinet and piping):
    1.80 × 0.72 m (800–1300 m³/h),
    1.70 × 0.80 m (1300–2000 m³/h),
    2.10 × 0.85 m (2000–3000 m³/h)
  • Powder-coated aluminum profile
  • Meets L1; D1; T2; TB2; F9 and is non-combustible in accordance with building material class DIN 4102: A1 (tested by TÜV Süd according to DIN EN 1886)
  • For easier installation of the units (from 1300 m³/h) into the building, the entire top section can be removed without affecting the piping or the heat pump located in the lower section
    (The smallest version does not have a heat pump and can also be supplied disassembled if required.)
  • Fully powder-coated inside and outside for corrosion protection

Control

  • Plug & play with complete wiring and optimally positioned sensors
  • External, fully pre-wired and factory-tested control cabinet with LCD display. Thanks to the integrated control system with Direct Digital Control (DDC) controllers, operating states are continuously and conveniently adjusted to maintain the desired conditions in the swimming hall under varying outdoor air conditions. The software developed by WOLF specifically for pool applications ensures perfect and efficient interaction of all components
  • Direct access via a web browser for remote operation. This allows, for example, detailed settings, changing the operating mode, or logging data points. Communication with the building management system via Modbus, optionally BACnet/IP, LON, and web module

Heat Recovery

  • Highly efficient epoxy resin-coated aluminum plate heat exchanger with very high heat recovery efficiency. It not only reduces operating costs, but is also highly recyclable
  • Optional: bypass for idle operation without dehumidification requirements at air flow rates between 800 and 1,300 m³/h
